Here’s a dog-friendly glamping spot located in Hildale, Utah that you’ll gotta put on your bucket list! Many people camp here for the epic views and proximity to Zion National Park, Springdale’s most visited spot! Hope you enjoy our Zion Luxury Camping Review!
Located less than 2 hours from 5 additional national parks, it’s easy to see why hundreds of travelers experience this camping park! We camped here for two nights with our German Shepherd, Sequoia and had a BLAST! Here’s our Zion Luxury Camping Review so you know what to expect when you book!
Zion Luxury Camping is in Hildale, Utah which is 45 minutes from Zion National Park! We embarked on our Journey from San Diego, California and arrived just in time for the most wonderful sunset! We were worries about driving in the dirt roads with our small Honda Civic, but the roads were greatly maintained!
Zion Luxury Camping is far away from main cities like Saint George, so it’s a top rated spot for stargazing! Make sure to go on a night with no moon for the best star visibility!
Each tent comes with a giant king bed, 10 foot ceilings, and a cute wooden deck! You also get a campsite with a designated fire pit, two chairs, and a functional grill! Campsite #17 was our favorite, just look at that view!
This place is mega dog friendly! Campsites are at least 50 feet away from each other so your pup can have some privacy away from other dogs. They even bundles of firewood so you’ll have an endless amount of sticks to chew on!
The roads to Zion Luxury Camping are dirt roads which are well maintained enough for a small sedan like our Honda Civic to drive in. As long as it’s not raining or snowing, you should be fine with any 2wd vehicle.
Summer is great because there are less visitors who can bare the heat! We went in summer and had a blast. If you prefer more moderate temperatures, visit during fall. For an epic white and orange landscape, visit during the snow with your snow chains and AWD vehicle!
The sunset is immediately west of the gorgeous Utah canyons, so we recommend enjoying sunset right from your campsite at Zion Luxury Camping! That way you don’t have to drive during night time on the dirt roads!
The best dog-friendly, bike-friendly, and wheel-chair friendly trail in Zion is the Pa’rus trail which runs along the Virgin River! The Pa-rus hike starts right next to the park entrance and is only minutes away from Fresh Coffee!
Feel Love Coffee is less than a mile outside the national park entrance and has delicious lattes and meals! Their iced vanilla latte is YUM! You can enjoy sipping your coffee with views on the desert mountains!
For a fair price of around $150 or less per night, we think this place is a 5 star stay because of the comfortable king bed, epic landscape views, and proximity to Zion National Park! They also had clean bathrooms with showers and flushing toilets, what else could you need?
Let’s conclude this Zion Luxury Camping review by mentioning that this stay is NOT for everyone and that’s okay! If you demand air conditioning and get mad over a few bugs while in nature, stay at a local airbnb instead! We’ll link some of those below! Wherever you decide to stay, we hope you have a blast and bring your dog!
Love,
