La Jolla Woman’s Club Wedding Photography – Styled Bridal Session by Bree and Stephen Photography

We’ve been slacking on our blogging game, we’ve been busy with engagement sessions and client meetings but we are so stoked to finally share this styled shoot in collaboration with the La Jolla Woman’s Club and a few other top vendors in Southern California! The best way to show off the endless La Jolla Woman’s Club Wedding Photography opportunities was to make this magic!

When we first moved here from Florida, our goal was to network with as many people as possible and to do as many styled shoots as we could so we could help break into the wedding market here. Photographers know how important styled shoots are for practicing a new skill because you don’t want to risk someone’s wedding day! This whole session was put together by the amazing Robyn with R. Nicole Events and Auriel at La Jolla Womans Club. They wanted to incorporate a lot of neutrals and metallic colors for a more modern look, therefore the photos ended up GORGEOUS!

They added a swing to the beautiful oak tree at the venue (which was a first for them) and it added such a romantic energy to the whole session because of the whimsical vibe! The teamwork made this shoot so magical because of how much fun we all had! We are so lucky to have collaborated with some of the amazing ladies who made it all happen!

If you are a photographer and you’re diggin’ this editing style, try our Lightroom Presets! These presets work best for photographers who shoot their subjects backlit (with the sun behind the subject). Make sure to underexpose your photos because you don’t want to lose your highlights when applying this preset!
